How the valley changes the job

The whole valley gets long, wet winters, but conditions are not the same everywhere. Towns near the Cascade foothills, like Sweet Home, Lebanon and Scio, and Coast Range towns like Philomath, tend to see more rain and damper slabs. Farm towns along Highway 99E, like Tangent, Halsey and Shedd, bring older detached shops, oil-stained slabs and floodplain moisture. Newer neighborhoods in Millersburg, Adair Village and the edges of Albany and Corvallis bring fresh slabs that need time to cure and a moisture check before coating.

Those differences are why we test moisture and look at every slab in person before quoting. Our wet-climate and moisture guide explains what we check, and the install process page shows the steps.
